Your support is appreciated.
In 1992, the Russian-born Sufi teacher, Irina Tweedie, instructed her students, Tony Kruger and Mona Wurtz, to build a meditation retreat in Australia – a place that would serve those searching for peace in their hearts and minds for many days to come.
Together Tony and Mona created a priceless sanctuary, a place of inspiration and transformation. They called it Sangsurya – a Sanskrit inspired word, meaning “a place where light reaches everybody”.
Over the last 25 years, more than 20,000 people have been touched by Sangsurya, as world class facilitators hold this very special space with grace, humility and authenticity.
For those of you who have attended retreats or trainings here, you know the artistry and care that informs every building, garden, walkway and staircase in this wonderful haven.
Every effort is made to keep costs to participants reasonable, so that a wide cross-section of people are able to receive the nourishment and support a stay at Sangsurya offers.
Sangsurya also subsidises the Insight Meditation Retreats as part of its altruistic mission. Attending an Insight Meditation Retreat provides access for people to learn precious and unique life skills for their own benefit and that of the broader community to which they return.
Your donation will ensure the continuation of this invaluable social service.
Yes, I will make a donation to Sangsurya Retreat to ensure that as many people as possible can contribute to healing and transforming our world. Thank you for your kind and generous support!
